All Funruns are free. Just show up to participate. You do not need to be a member though we would prefer that you would join up if you like the runs. For more info, contact any of the vice-presidents listed at the bottom of the page.

31st annual BSWD Back to Bridger Run, distances below, starting times below
Long version will follow the Frontage Road about 1 mile east to Kelly Canyon Road, then 7 miles along Kelly Canyon Rd, turn right on Bridger Canyon Rd , finally turn left into Bridger Bowl and finish at the lodge at the bottom of the ski hill.
There will be six different distances along the course. Each distance has a different start point and a different start time. They are as follows;
9:00 am : 17.5 miles starting at the Elks Club on Haggerty Lane
9:30 am: 12.5 miles starting on Kelly Canyon Rd. at the junction of Sawmill Rd.
9:50am : 10 miles starting at the junction of Kelly Canyon Rd. and Bridger Canyon Rd.
10:10am: 7 miles starting at the junction of Jackson Creek Rd. and Bridger Canyon Rd.
10:30am: 3 miles starting on Bridger Canyon Drive 2.5 miles south of Bridger Bowl Rd.
10:40am: 1.5 miles starting on Bridger Canyon Drive 1 mile south of Bridger Bowl Rd.
The finish line will close at 12:30 pm. All runners need to select a distance and a start time so they can finish by 12:30. There will be no transportation provided by the BSWD. It is each runners responsibility to arrange transportation back from Bridger Bowl.

Halloween Costume Run, 9:00 AM, 1.1, 3.0 and 5.4 miles, starts at Grant and 11th. Runs around campus. Prizes for best costumes

Jim Banks Turkey Trot, 9:00 AM, Fellowship Meeting Hall, Spirit Hills and Springhill Rd, 2.7 and 4.4 miles, free turkey prizes.

Bon Appetite fun run, 9:00 AM, if you don't want the competitive atmosphere of the Huffing race below, meet at former Sports and Courts and run any distance and go to breakfast afterwards.

Huffing For Stuffing Thanksgiving Day Run, Kids' Run at 8:15AM, 10K at 9AM and 5K at 9:15AM. Start/Finish at Museum of the Rockies. Race proceeds to benefit the Gallatin Valley Food Bank. Jiingle Bell Jog Free Fun Run, approximately 1 mi, 3 mi, and 5 mi distances. 9:00 AM. Great new venue at the Lindley Center. There is a potluck cookie and spiced cider party in the Lindley Center following the run. Very cool BSWD Jingle Jog mugs for all attendees.

December 31 , 2009
25th Annual New Years Eve Free Fun Run, about 2 miles, 11:30 PM at the Brown-Wade's, 407 Overbrook #19, BYOB and small amount of treats. Games and treats at 10PM, then run to a clock (site TBD) at 11:40. Sing carols until the clock stikes midnight, run back, and eat treats to your heart's content.

January 2 , 2010 
Franklin's Fat Ass 50K, 50K (5K at a time). 9:00 AM. Headwaters Park Start in the parking lot by the restrooms. If it is below 0° the run will take place the following Saturday. Run as many 5K's as you want (or the weather allows). Free entry. Free hot and cold drinks. Free company. Top five entrants get free entry next year.

36th Andy Blank Free One Hour Run, run as far as you can in one hour, 2:00PM, MSU Field House, bring your own lapcounter. Note, there is usually a One Hour Swim near this date at the Swim Center. (Bozeman Masters Swim Club: Swim)

33rd Froze Nose Free Fun Run, 5.4, 3, 1.1 mi, 9:00 AM, MSU Grant & 11th. Courses go out along Kagy, the furthest going through the Cherry subdivision. Get a handicap time for the March run and see if you can improve enough to win!

33rd Handicapped Run, 5.4, 3, 1.1 mi, MSU Grant & 11th. Courses go out along Kagy, the furthest going through the Cherry subdivision. Start according to your handicap. Handicaps will be determined for those individuals who participated in the Froze Nose Run in February.  Those who did not run in the Froze Nose will have starting times as follows:  5.4 Miles - 9:15 am   3.0 Miles - 9:30 am   1.1 Miles - 9:45 am.

33rd Back from Bridger, 17.5, 12.5, 9.7, 7 & 3 miles 9:00 AM, Bridger Bowl, Info; Kathybob2@usa.net  Fun run so there is race day registration and no entry fee. The Event starts at the Bridger Bowl Parking lot. Sign up starts at 8:30. The courses follow Bridger Canyon drive and Kelly Canyon road. The 3 mile course ends 2.5 miles from the Bridger Bowl entrance. The 7 mile run ends at Jackson Creek Road. The 10 mile run ends at Kelly Canyon Road. The 12.5 run ends at Sawmill Road on Kelly Canyon road. The 17.5 mile course ends at the Elks Club (Former Sports and Courts) on Haggerty Lane in Bozeman. The finish line closes at 12:30. Water will be provided at the finish of each distance. You will need your own transportation back to the start.

Baldy Blitz, Run to the top of Baldy and back down. Generally a good deal of snow remaining. This is both a free funrun and a timed race, so for a small fee you get a lasting momento and inclusion in the record books. M-trailhead at 9AM.
